Hi there! My name is Matteo Bucci, I am 30 years old and I'm passionate about technology or as long as I can remember.
I graduated in Bologna with a degree in computer engineering in 2017.
In the same year, RoomMate, a personal project became my ticket into one of Italy's most prestigious startup programs.
I have lived in Torino and Florence and traveled around Europe with my partners.
Since 2019, I have been living in Luxembourg, where RoomMate has thrived as a prominent startup in the country's ecosystem and as a source of one of the most respected Property Management Systems in the European market.
On 2023 RoomMate joined Joivy, and our efforts expanded into creating the most innovative IT platform to one of the leading players in the residential market in Europe.
~
I got my first PC when I was 6 years old.
Since then, I have always been amazed by what technology enables and have tried to understand how things work.
Years later, I now define how things need to work and have realized how much global effort and resources are needed.
My goal is to be part of this global effort, only to become ever more amazed by what is possible to achieve within groups with great ideas.
Techologies
Stack I'm currently working with
Angular
From Angular 8 to Angular 14, I have developed and mainteined RoomMate's web app. We created complex dashboards making use of the latest trends and best practises
MongoDB
I have used MongoDB in many projects and at different scales. I've deployed pipelines and graphs.
NodeJS
I don't think it needs a description.
ExpressJS
Express JS is powering the backend of RoomMate's web app. Several custom middleware are providing security and logging across the platform.
Typescript
A great type language that allowed an increase complexity in our codebase.
Firebase
I have use deeply most of the Firebase services across the years. From auth to firestore, from storage to analytics and more.
Google Cloud
and its services are powering a lot of my projects. A non complete list of services I have used: Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Storage, Cloud Build, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks, Logging, Monitoring, IAM, Cloud Firestore, App Engine, Cloud Run
RxJS
A great way to handle async operations and streams
